John & Judy Fisher

by Dana Kester-McCabe

John & Judy Fisher create beautiful works of wearable art with their hand crafted silver jewelry and miniature wax linen basketry.

John began making art at the University of Maryland. John and Judy met a craft show when she bought one of his rings. They have been collaborating for the last twenty years and moved to the Eastern Shore in 2001.

Until recently basket weaving had been Judy's creative focus when John sought her help bringing a wider color pallet to his silver jewelry.
Making art and running their gallery are labors of love. The gallery exhibits and sells the work of an eclectic group of artisans including about a dozen form right here on Delmarva.

They are most proud of their longevity surviving in a challenging field. John and Judy Fisher's work can be found at their studio gallery in downtown Berlin.
