Citizen Science at Furnace Town! Come birding with us in the Pocomoke Forest and help us gather data for the eBird program created by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and National Audubon Society. An exhibit that will explore the 75 year art history of St. Michaels watercolorist, Barbara Jablin. A reception will be held on Saturday, April 8th, 5 to 7pm, as part of the Second Saturday St. Michaels Art Walk. Barbara Jablin has had a long career as an artist. You are invited to experience this artist's early work as a courtroom artist, illustrator, teacher, and today's exquisite watercolor paintings.

Join us for a magnificent concert. Martin Hargrove, an opera singer and concert artist, will perform a program of Negro Spirituals and American Art Songs. He will discuss how Spirituals have influenced and shaped American music. Many of you will remember Martin as a member of the American Spiritual Ensemble, who performed at DCA last September. Tickets are $10.00 for DCA m -embers and $12.00 for non-members. Children under 12 are free when accompanied by an adult with paid admission.

Spring Delmarva Birding Weekend

Since 1995, the Spring Delmarva Birding Weekend combines boat trips, paddling treks, and expeditions by foot when migrating neo-tropical warblers are passing through our region. The Delmarva Peninsula possesses an extensive variety of environments, including barrier islands, tidal wetlands, cypress swamps, upland fields and primeval forests. Our annual Delmarva Birding Weekends celebrate the amazing warblers, shorebirds, waterfowl and raptors that visit and live here on the peninsula.

With a host of opera and oratorio roles, art songs, spirituals, and cabaret music in his repertoire, Wright is also a member of the internationally acclaimed American Spiritual Ensemble. Also performing will be extremely talented Salisbury University students.
