Exhibit: Art and Photography from Green Earth Book Award Recipients

Exhibit features an amazing variety of art and photography from scratchboard to watercolors, cartoon art to stop-action photographs, to appeal to environmentalists of all ages. The Green Earth Book Award (GEBA) was created by the Newton Marasco Foundation in collaboration with Salisbury University to get more books with a message of environmental stewardship into the hands of children and young adults and to connect authors with youth.

Barista and Books

What is a Barista? Find out when Starbucks presents story time at the main branch of the Wicomico Public Library. All 3, 4, and 5 year olds and their caregivers are welcome to join us for stories, fingerplays, songs and a take home craft during our 1/2 hour program. Enjoy coffee, drinks and pastries compliments of our Salisbury Starbucks on the third Wednesday of each month.

Amazed! Dazzled! Captivated! Cirque Montage creates a whimsical world of animated characters that defy the perception of what is possible. The acts weave together in a collage of traditional cutting edge circus arts. Comedy comes in the form of our candid ringmaster who is shadowed by a mischievous red featherless bird named Raven in search of fame. Cirque Montage will excite and thrill audiences of all ages!

Local Storyteller Beth Ohlsson takes us to that "Once Upon a Time" place with her words. This 45 minute program is for those who seek to discover traditional folktales and fairy tales. Ages 6 and older.

Gary Lloyd - Storyteller

Gary Lloyd tells tales that buzz in your ears while answering the question, "Two bees or not Two bees?" His enthusiasm shows his love of his craft and his respect for his audiences. Gary has now told stories to over 850,000 listeners of all ages in 8 states. Gary won a national level award for his telling, but truly savors the comments he gets all the time from children and adults who rediscover just how fun and powerful storytelling can be. Wear yellow and black for a special present!
