This Month's Garden Planner For March
1. Draw a map of your garden beds and plan where you want to put what plants.
2. Start a garden journal to keep track of what works from year to year in similar growing conditions.
3. Start seeds for cold tolerant plants such as: peas, beets, spinach, Chinese cabbage, and potato or onion sets.
4. Buy or build a cold frame to protect seedlings and young plants
5. Keep track of predicted overnight lows and cover plants when there are freeze warnings.
6. Beekeepers supplement hive's food supply with sugar syrup and do post winter cleanup.
